Who we are

Sage green leaves representing growth and renewal at Sagelight Counseling Studio

Sagelight Counseling Studio is a psychotherapy practice supporting women in life's later chapters as they navigate transition, meaning, and self-understanding.

It is grounded in the belief that your accumulated years are not just history but a deep well of wisdom. My role is to gently illuminate that inner resource, helping you move through each season with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.

My work is informed by a background in illustration and writing, where I developed a lifelong attention to story and image. I understand life not as a fixed narrative but as something evolving, capable of revision and depth.

Wherever you find yourself on your path, you're welcome here.

My path to this practice

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Art Therapy from Lesley University.

I also hold a Master's in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a Bachelor's in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. For clients who wish to explore beyond words, this training supports an art-informed approach. No artistic skill is required.

My clinical experience includes individual counseling across a range of settings from outpatient care, day treatment, partial hospitalization, community mental health, and women's groups. I have worked extensively with adults navigating life's later chapters, including grief, transition, anxiety, depression, and the question of what lies ahead.

The studio

This is an intimate, women-centered space shaped for reflection.

Here, nothing is rushed. Attention is given to what is present, and also to what is just beginning to emerge. Here, we honor what has been lived as a strength to build upon, the foundation for what comes next.

There is room here for quiet, for complexity, and for the kind of clarity that cannot be forced.

How we work

Therapy at Sagelight is grounded in a collaborative relationship. You are met with steadiness, presence, and respect and invited to be an engaged participant in your own process.

Sessions offer space for reflection alongside honest attention to what feels uncertain, heavy, or unfinished. Care here honors both autonomy and connection, supporting work that unfolds at a pace that feels sustainable and real.
